Built with privacy in mind
MYiP is designed around minimal data collection: every diagnostic runs from the connection and browser you already have, and nothing is stored.
MYiP is a diagnostic utility. It reads connection and browser signals that are already visible to every website you visit, and presents them clearly so you can understand what information is exposed.
Browser-side checks (browser environment, WebRTC, IPv6 candidates) run entirely on your device and never send their results anywhere. Server-side checks use only the single public address MYiP already receives from your connection (CF-Connecting-IP) — never a client-supplied address and never a third-party IP lookup. MYiP stores nothing and logs nothing. MYiP requires no account, keeps no diagnostic history, and has nothing to sell or share.
What MYiP is not
- — MYiP does not claim to make you anonymous.
- — MYiP does not claim that your connection is secure or protected.
- — MYiP does not use analytics, trackers, or third-party data sharing.
- — MYiP performs no active port scanning; the Port Diagnostics page reports that limit instead of inventing results.
- — The DNS test only shows what MYiP's own authoritative DNS zone observed for a single random name. Query records may also be retained by the DNS infrastructure's own logging, which is outside MYiP's control.
